Introducing the Berry Community Promise
At the Eastern Slope Inn Resort, community isn’t a buzzword—it’s the foundation of everything we do. The places where our resorts operate aren’t just destinations for our guests; they’re home to our employees, neighbors, and partners. That belief is what inspired the launch of the Berry Community Promise, our new charitable and volunteerism campaign beginning in 2026.
The Berry Community Promise focuses on three critical pillars that directly impact the strength and resilience of the Mt. Washington Valley: housing, hunger, and safety services. These priorities reflect real needs in our region and reinforce our commitment to being an active, responsible partner in the communities we serve.
Supporting Those Who Protect Our Valley
As part of the Promise’s Safety Services pillar, the Eastern Slope Inn Resort will donate a portion of all 2026 room revenue from our resort properties to the North Conway Fire Department Association. These funds will help support equipment purchases and operational needs for the first responders who protect residents, visitors, and businesses every day.
This initiative is about more than financial contributions. It’s about recognizing the essential role these departments play in maintaining a safe, thriving Valley—and doing our part to support them in meaningful, tangible ways.
A Legacy of Showing Up
The Berry Community Promise honors the legacy of Joe Berry, whose lifelong commitment to service, generosity, and community shaped the values that guide the Eastern Slope Inn Resort today. His belief was simple: strong communities are built when people show up for one another.
That belief continues to guide us as we look ahead to 2026 and beyond.
A Shared Effort
In addition to room-revenue-driven donations, the Berry Community Promise will be supported through employee volunteerism and direct charitable contributions, allowing our team to engage hands-on while amplifying the impact of every stay.
When guests choose to stay at the Eastern Slope Inn Resort, they’re not just choosing a place to stay—they’re becoming part of a broader effort to strengthen the Valley we all love.
We’re proud to make this promise, and even prouder to make it together.
