Celebrating a Century of Hospitality — and a Community That Made It Possible
We’re thrilled to share that the Eastern Slope Inn has been named “Best Hotel in the Mt. Washington Valley” by readers of The Conway Daily Sun! This recognition is especially meaningful as we approach the Inn’s 100th anniversary this July — a century of warmth, resilience, and the welcoming spirit that has defined North Conway for generations.
Built in 1926, after two earlier versions were lost to fire, the current Eastern Slope Inn rose from challenge to become a true North Conway landmark. Over the past 99 years, countless guests have passed through our doors — families returning year after year, travelers discovering the magic of the White Mountains for the first time, and community members who make this valley feel like home.
“This award reflects the care and pride our team brings to every guest experience,” said Alec Tarberry, President of The Berry Companies. “As we celebrate this milestone year, I know my father, Joe Berry, would be incredibly proud of the people who keep this tradition of hospitality alive.”
We invite you to experience the magic for yourself — stroll through our historic halls, enjoy the charm of North Conway Village, and make new memories in a place that’s been welcoming travelers for nearly a century. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, the Eastern Slope Inn’s story isn’t complete without you.
