History
Originally built in 1926 by hotelier Henry Harrison “Harry” Randall, the current Inn is the third Hotel Randall located on the site and is a prominent example of large-scale Colonial Revival architecture. Eastern Mountain Sports bought the property in 1975 converting it to retail, a restaurant, and the climbing school.
In 1980, Joe Berry of River Run Company bought the then-closed resort and brought it back to life. Berry, an avid skier, and ski history enthusiast began his role in local real estate at Attitash Mountain Village in the 1970s by developing homes and rental condominium units before buying the Eastern Slope Inn.
Zoom out to today, Eastern Slope Inn now has more than 220 Vacation Ownership guest houses, suites, and cottage-style units representing more than 7,000 vacation owners and is known as one of the premier year-round destination resorts in New England.
