The Polar Express Event
The Polar Express Event of New England®, a magical journey to the North Pole. This experience includes a wonderful evening train ride, a bunch of elves, and of course, Santa himself! This adventure is a North Conway rendition of the children's book, The Polar Express©, written by Chris Van Allsburg and published by the Houghton Mifflin Company.
The Polar Express Event of New England® departs each December and heads to the North Pole from the center of North Conway Village. The train is full of children and adults, dressed in their pajamas, about to live the experience of the little boy in The Polar Express©. The story focuses on a little boy who has been told by his friends that there is no Santa Claus. Unwilling to believe this, he lies awake in his bed on Christmas Eve, waiting for the sound of Santa's sleigh. Instead, he hears the hissing steam and squeaking metal of the Polar Express as it stops outside his window, ready to take him and other children to the North Pole. An advance deposit of 50% of your stay or one night's lodging, whichever is greater, must be received at the time of your reservation.
Deposits are refundable, less a $25.00 service charge, provided that notice of cancellation or reservation change is received not less than 7 days prior to arrival.
Your deposit will be forfeited on all cancellations of less than 7 days notice.
As part of the registration process, guests are required to sign a release form stating acceptance of responsibilities for payment of any damages to the unit, or to Eastern Slope Inn property, that occur during their stay.
A 50% deposit is required for holiday reservations and special event periods. A security deposit will be required at check-in, payable by cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover.
If paid by cash, security deposit will be refunded by check, provided the unit is not damaged.

All rates are subject to 9% NH Rooms & Meals Tax.
Rates are per unit.
Weekend rates apply during school vacation, holiday periods, and other peak periods. There is also a minimum length of stay required during these times.
No pets are allowed on the Eastern Slope Inn Property
There is a $100 fee for unauthorized pets on property. We have pet-friendly rooms available at the Oxen Yoke Motel and the Attitash Marketplace Motel.
